Zion Williamson the high school phenomenon from Spartenburg Day High School in Spartenburg, South Carolina is making a monster impression around the country. He ranked as the second best high school player in the country, but honestly he should be given number one. Rumors say,”We are seeing the next Lebron James”.
Check out this Zion Williamson dunk compilation, just a little taste of the potential this player has:
Williamson is as physical and aggressive as it gets in high school basketball. A powerful lefty with a wide-frame, he attacks the rim running downhill like few others in the high school game, bullies his way through contact, and yet is still athletic around the cup. Williamson is standing at 6’7 ft 230 lbs, at 17 years old. To be of that stature at his age is incredible alone. We haven’t seen a kid with this talent in high school since Lebron James.
Five-star Zion Williamson, best known for his highlight reel dunks and spectacular chase downs, kicked off his final month of travel basketball in front of standing-room-only crowds and bleachers packed with college coaches. Zion Williamson is really biting more on Duke University when it comes to college.
Williamson will take a deeper look at his college recruitment after he completes the final two weeks of his travel career with the SC Supreme 17-under.
“All of the schools are trying to get me for an official visit, but I am probably going to take most of my official visits to the west coast schools that are far away and then take visits to the local schools,” he said. “I will probably commit in October or November before my high school season starts.
“For me, when I feel like the time is right, I will make my decision.” When it all comes down to this phenomenon, we haven’t seen the best of Zion Williamson. This is nothing but the beginning for him, and there is much more to see. Wherever Zion commits, there will be a freight train coming!
